For over 25 years, Mr. Sonel Y. Shropshire, J.D. has been one of the most recognized professionals in the educational arena.

Throughout his career, Shropshire has held Assistant Dean/Associate Vice President positions at major colleges and universities across the country, including University of California - Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University, Texas Wesleyan University, Stetson University, University of Florida, Delaware State University, and Everett Community College. He currently serves as President of Antelope Valley Business School. His expertise spans strategic planning, enrollment management, international education partnerships, workforce development ,and institutional advancement.

A champion of organizational engagement, collaborative leadership, and institutional excellence, Shropshire has worked closely with faculty, staff, administrators, and executive leadership to develop initiatives that strengthen academic programs, enhance workplace effectiveness, and foster cultures of collaboration and innovation. His approach emphasizes building meaningful partnerships across campus, engaging stakeholders in strategic planning and organizational development, He has served in leadership and advisory capacities with prominent national organizations, including the American Association of Community Colleges, National Association for College Admission Counseling, Law School Admission Council, the American Bar Association Task Force, White House Initiative on HBCUs, and the California Science Center Advisory Board.
